Three weeks to wait for this a DownWind. A heat wave has settled over the Western Cape and we were lucky to get even this soft downwind in. A nice turn out for the SUP's and a lot of hard work for them in the light conditions. With a high tide we were able to use Small Bay which readly saves 20-30 seconds for the ski paddlers. Eugene lead the single ski's home via a very deep line. The rest of the single were trying to sit slip all the way. Bianca got the most she could from the doubles early on enbling a well deserved Elite finish. "Dances with Waves" went to Larry again! This time for his attempt to get into his ski at the start which had him in and out the other side. No other swimmers noted. Next week is the last for this season and the forecast indicates a nice downwind. Yay!
